Hi, With summer this stuck heating/cooling actuator door is miserable down here in Florida. You all have always given good advice, so hope someone can help now. Its currently stuck to slightly cooler than air temp, but would rather replace it than just pry it open to cold. The factory part seems around $280. My mechanic suggested I purchase a less expensive after factory part (if available) and bring it in. Found this after-factory-part on line but am not clear if you need both items? Or if this will last. Maybe you have other suggestions? My current truck is a 2001 Tacoma. Any advice is appreciated it. Including the link: https://www.autozone.com/cooling-hea...-door-actuator

you can go to a junk yard and look for a replacement or you can ask from those who are parting out.
