Acceleration noise sounds like.....

Howdy all well within the last 6k or 2.5 months I've developed a weird noise while under hard (over 2500k) acceleration. It sounds like a bearing or something but not really a belt. I was thinking maybe the water pump but noticed no leaks from the bearing per say as I have noticed in other vehicles. I did tow a load the other day O/D off and 2700K @ 65mph and noticed when I stopped the smell of coolant. Whether the 2 are related or not I'm not sure. It isn't the intake that has it's own sound.

Sounds like a bearing...?

Can you describe the sound a little better...?

Have you checked your coolant level?

Hmm well you punch it on the on ramp to maintain a safe distance in front of that damn semi in the right lane who's not giving an inch. And the sound happens high pitch screech if you will. The coolant level seems normal.

Hmmm, I'd say try replacing the belts.. its an easy and cheap fix. Its worth the $10 bucks to try just to eliminate a possible culprit.

When my belts went...they squeaked at all rpms. I thought it was a bearing too cause the sound was easily detectable around the pulleys but it was in fact the belt.
