97 toyota tacoma 2.7 noisy valves
Have a 97 tacoma (2.7) less then 100k, It has just stared getting noisy on top, Does not do it when cold, Do you think I need a Valve adjustment? One more thing, I have been losing water, Can`t see where it`s going, Does not get hot, No water in oil, Thanks in advance for any help,

Time for a new Water Pump???? when the seal starts to go it can loose water verrrrry slowly so that you would not see a puddle or anything. Can you smell anything...?

This really should be in the newbie section--this is pretty basic.
but the short answer--put feeler gauge under the lobe and see which one slides in between the bucket (on shim and bucket) and the cam. Check number and compare to specs--adjust as needed
