93 pickup need idias for more power?

we have a 1993 Toyota Pickup 4WD V6 3.0L and we just got a 4" lift with some 33's but the problem is, is that we need more power. what are some things that we can do to inprove are power? the truck has 167,xxx miles on it and has never broke down or had any problems.

Do a search on 3.0 V6 or 3vze and more power. You'll see that a lot of folks have tried, are trying, and the concensus seems to be....

An engine swap.

What is it currently geared at? if you know what your axle code it is I could tell you.
Mine was G254 so it came with 4.56's.
I am probably gonna just throw in 4.88's since I know someoene locally that has a set axles with them already installed for cheap.

iono its completely stock, 167,xxx miles and still on stock brakes :D

Look next to your drivers side door sill there will be a sticker with the vin # and some axle code it will be like a G*** #.

166k and original head gasket?? I wouldn't take any long trips in that thing.

acutly, that was a recalled and changed a long time ago.

Original BRAKES? Holy cow that's amazing. Anyhow, gears are the answer. It's the single most efficient way to make power. You'd have to have 3x the horsepower to get what you can get with gears. Try 4.88s.
