4WD activating randomly
 

Hi,

I have a 1996 4runner SR5. The problem is that when I'm driving, especially coming to a stop, the 4WD light starts to flicker and I can feel the vehicle trying to engage 4wd. I took out the 4wd fuse from the fuse panel inside the car, and the problem stopped. My passenger can hear the clicking coming from the front right of the vehicle and the clicking corresponds with the flickering of the 4wd light, so I believe it's electrical. Would this be an actuator problem?
