4.30 rear r/p and 4.10 front r/p?
Ok, so I bombed the rear dif... Tomorrow I will be swapping in a rear axle that has 4.30 r/p. I will be leaving the front 4.10 r/p in for awhile until I get more time or $$$ to swap the front to the 4.30. So my question is... Will I be able to drive it in this configuration (in 2wd only).
I'm not too familiar with the ADD in these or how they work. I'm assuming the drivetrain will be disconnected f/r at the transfer case while in 2wd. Correct?

well, it was a hard swap. It cost me $200 to pay a guy to do it, and $20 for an alignment while we had it up on the rack. I had to help a little, to steady the axle and stuff. We put in the '99s rear springs and the big cone bumpstops. I did'nt have time to grab the wiring or ECU yet, but had a look at it all and will get it maybe next week and try hooking it up. Sweet though, got the eLocker in back.
Some pics from the phone while I was supervising. It took roughly 5 hours. We lifted mine to work on it and did the 99s on the ground. That is for pulling both and putting both back in, and an alignment.
p.s. if your seals are leaking, be sure you have oil in your diff or it'll be gone in about 4,000 miles. Unless you already have another axle and don't care, like me.
oh yeah
