3.4 swap question - need help asap please

Hey all:

I'm in the middle of swapping a 3.4 into my 93 4runner, and I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer. Well I'm wanting to keep my R12 A/C, so I swapped a ribbed pulley from a 3.4L R134 compressor, and all is fine. But I don't have the A/C bracket from a 3.4L, and modified my 3.0 bracket so that it would fit on the 3.4 block. When I go to bolt up the compressor to the bracket, I'm finding that the compressor pulley doesn't line up with the CS pulley. I've measured both the old and new compressors with the pulley on, and the compressors themselves are identical, as far as fitment goes. So I'm assuming there is a difference in bracketry, being that the 3.4L compressor taps are a little further forward? I don't know, as I'm unable to find a 3.4 bracket, and the dealer wants 100 bucks for it. I've read on 4X4wire that the 3.0 bracket can be modified to fit, but I don't see how to proceed. I'm hoping all of this makes sense, and someone can help. I'm not wanting to dump a 100 bucks into a bracket....

So what you are saying is that the AC belt is going to be slightly uncentered, right?

Here is a bump for you. Also, a pic would help a lot I bet...

on all the 3.4 swaps we did, we used the 3.4 bracket? all my donor motors had the bracket

that's correct about the belt being offcentered. I've read that the 3.0 bracket can be modified to work, but I think that's not correct. I'm having a very tough time locating a 3.4 bracket.
