2nd gen shock replacement

hi

Has anyone replaced the rear shocks on a 2nd gen 4runner(hilux) that has the push button adjustable soft/hard option. If so was the system disconected or can this be hooked up to new shocks.?:smokin:

Those sound like air shocks?
Was this a standard item on the Hilux?
If so, then you just need to get a set of adjustable air shocks to replace them with.

We didn't get Limiteds until 95 and never got that shock option here in the States. It may have been a package that was only available in certain markets. There are actually a lot of really good shocks on the market so I don't see the need to buy stock shocks again but I think you need to ask a guys local to you who would know for sure.

Had them done today, they just disconect the switch to the rear shocks.
They put in some munroe's, feels really good too.:bounce:
