1996 4Runner making strange noise(s)
 

Today I noticed some kind of squelling or air leak, here's a link to a sound clip to see if anyone can help me figure out what it is...any help greatly appreciated, haven't done a close inspection yet...sounds like a belt or maybe a bad bearing...

I could not make the link work-and have to think that is why 60 people have viewed and no one is venturing an opinion on how to help...

if someone can help ksurfer out by making the link work that would be appreciated.

If this sound is coming from the front of the engine I would say it's either a worn drive belt or a timing belt bearing going bad.
