It's a lot of money, but I still have way less money in my rig than my buddy does with a stock 2004 4Runner, and I can do way more than he could ever dream of doing and I get about the same gas mileage once the 3.4L goes in.

Check out prices from
www.addictedoffroad.com
Scott had some of the best prices I found. Your still looking at like 2,000ish just for parts. But having a SAS and lift with no lockers or gears wouldn't be all that useful. You could probably skip the the gears, but I definitely would do lockers. Traction is huge in wheeling.

so my measurement from the top of the rim to the bottom of the fender is 21". Stock I think is what 14-15"? So I have about 6" lift withe these 3" springs. These better break in ALOT! The guys at TG said it should end up being about a 4.5" lift once they break in, I dunno but my truck is high...

you have not even put the full weight of the truck on the springs yet... they will settle in nicely.
We might just have to build you a bumper to help the process along
