It works really well, i tried to take a few photos at night but they just don't do it justice. Lights up the whole cab. I just bought it at Autozone, it was around $15. Thanks for the comment!

my friend kyle took some photos of me and my truck at night with his medium format, they came out pretty cool...

also this is a pretty good example of the dome light, its probably a little less bright but thats pretty close

summer plans:

im sick of the stock headlights so im gonna give the ebay autopal headlights a shot, heres the thread about em.

I also wanna fix the suspension in the truck because after 20 years its pretty crappy. I think im gonna go with OME leafs for the rear and get some bj spacers from 4crawler.

Oh also planning on getting the truck painted, got a quote from Maaco for $275 just for the spray, so ill do all the prep work. I think im gonna go with the old landcruiser color Olive Brown (also seen it as Olive Green), heres a picture. Any comments would be appreciated... I'll probably matte black the chrome on the grill as well, ill post up some more recent photos of the truck soon.

Color

Hey all thanks for the comments!

So far I've prepped the truck for paint, exterior only.. I got a quote from Maaco for $275 so I figured I can't go wrong with that.

It's goin in on Monday morning and I should have er back by Tuesday

I chose the Toyota FJ40 color Olive Brown (code 653)

here's how the paint should look:

Afterwards I think Im gonna spray most of the chrome matte black, I also unbolted the bed hooks and sandblasted them, also got some SS bolts to replace all the original phillips head bolts I destroyed with an easy out ha, so the truck should look nice and pretty in a few days!

I know its been said close to a million times before but your trucks amazing, on a side note, are you still running those autopal headlights from ebay? and if so how do you like them?
