My buddy j&h helped me install my ball joint spacers and my step brother is an automotive tech who specializes in lifts, gear installs etc etc so he is the one who helped me bring the alignment back in from outer space. He did a Damn fine job.

I'm surprised with how much I get out of this ifs set up really. I'll roll with this until it is what is holding me back. Some of the pictures reveal my one legged handicap lol. It's on my list of to do's lol

Thanks! 5 speed swap will start when I am back home after I finish up this job out of state. So say Feb or march? I'm chompin at the bit to get Rollin on this but its a waiting game at this point. So I'm just gonna make up for it by doing a bunch all at once.

So all at once the truck will get the manual trans. Marlin crawler clutch kit. Shirt throw shifter, budbuilt xmember and my downer headers all at the same time. Plus ill be putting my new wheels on with some fresh km2s so I'm stoked for that as well.

Trucks gonna be a different kind of beast after I accomplish that.

After that its gears locker and armor Time ;-)

Great build. The R150 will be a nice upgrade to get that 3.4 swap started

Pics from this week. On another note I really need to hunker down and finish with getting the parts for this transmission conversion. I had a date with a girl in palm springs and the damn auto wouldnt shift into its last gear so I was railing it at like 4500 rpms as oppsoed to like 2300....... Big waste of fuel. I cant wait until I have the last few things I need and get rid of the auto....

Thank you very much. I agree, it will be an entirely new ride after the trans swap, i cant even imagine the degree of performance change with a good v6 in there!

Thanks alot Stockwell! My siped km2s have a rough 40k miles on them and are due to be replaced before my next legitimate wheeling trip. The two photos in the snow I am using my roommates wheels. The photos above that, are about 35k ish?

Oh and I seriously envy the trip youve taken on. It looks amazing dude and besides the few issues youve had Im glad its gone rather well for the most part. Your 4runner looks amazing as always.

Wow 40K? That is crazy, I'll be lucky if mine make it to 25K. I might do something similar with my next set, because they suck in the ice and snow.

And thanks for the compliment, its been a blast! Get out there and take yours on a trip!

Ya I was shocked, I think my truck is a fair bit lighter than yours, esp due to the armor. Them being siped made them ridiculously awesome in the snow and ice when I lived in the mountains. I seriously almost couldnt get stuck unless I was sitting on the axles. Loads of traction.

Ya I think Ill have to figure out a way to convince my roomate to make our own trip at some point when the trucks are capable. It looks freakin awesome.

Where did you bring in your cb antenna cable? Down through the grommet that feeds the license plate light?

Well the cable I kinda rushed as we were heading out for a trip so it comes out through a grommet in the floorboards and runs along the frame rail to the rear of the truck as opposed to running throughout the cabin to the back. It isnt the prettiest however it did work and as of yet it has shown no real signs of abrasive wear or weathering.

Ya I am still amazed as well. I will be most certainly getting another set of KM2s here in the next few months. Very Happy with them. I just gotta finish up all the extra goodies I am getting for this trans conversion which is shaping up nicely!!!

So Ive been fighting this issue with Flickr and yotatech and being able to post photos. So be patient with me as I figure this out. I dont quite have it down yet but I think I can once more post photos. More details can be found here on the matter.
