that one looks like has been there and done that.
It might be missing a couple of teeth, but you'd definitely want it on your side in a fight!

Yay! Paper copies of the Factory Repair Manual!

It definitely needs work, but you already new that!

Other than the dirty engine bay, one of the first things I see is the cone air filter and the broken windshield washer fluid reservoir.

I am not really a fan of the cone air filters, but some love them.

"If you want to be happy for the rest of your life never make a pretty woman your wife"

I think it's cool.......
Yeah, it's dirty alright, inside the engine and interior, they must have left the doors and hood open, and here the wind blows and the dirt fly's

Don't hold your breath, this one comes after the 84 build............
I did play a little more on the 92 today. For some reason the PO put in a hard headliner. It covered the moon roof and all the lights, why would he do that? I guess i should stop trying to figure out what PO do and why. So I removed it and now it shows the moon roof and it also has the slider to cover it, it's just metal but it's in there. Also exposed all the wiring, man what a mess. It also has the switches for the moon roof, don't know if it works though, didn't want to play with it too much before I get a chance to clean things up. I also removed the left and right plastic covers on the rear sides. All look to be in good shape although really dirty. For sure they left the door and windows open on this truck, I've never seen so much dirt. I uncovered all kinds of wires in the rear, PO probably had some kind of boom box going on, so I removed them while I was cleaning up.

Did a little more cleaning today. Took off all the door panels, man there's a lot of screws holding the arm rests....
Took some pics of the arm rests and plastic covers in the back, Just look at all the dirt that was "insde" everything. Amazing

Good thing is as far as the switches and plastic covers go, nothing looks broken
Bad news is I'll be cleaning for awhile:roll:
Now I need a good cleaner for all the switches, I have a can of QD Electronic cleaner but don't know if that's the best thing to use.
Chime in Ray

Took all the door parts and striprd them down to clean everything

Picked up a set of tailgate hinges off ebay. My cables were broken off by the plastic that attaches them to the regulator. Put them in and found some screws for the handle and screwed it in. Now I'm waiting on the key lock for the window, Once I get that (should be here tomorrow) I should have a working window and tailgate.
Tomorrow if the weather holds out I'll try and get my doors locks to work, right now they are hard to turn, drivers side really hard, passenger side is not to bad.Not sure if I'm going to remove the lock cylinder or 1st just try spaying some WD40 to see if they loosen up.There're probably caked with dirt like the rest of the truck.
Cleaned all the door parts and switches (see above) and put everything back together, forgot to take a pic but they look 100% better and the switches for the power windows move smoothly.
Working on a set of door panels from a guy I know, hopefully they look good, then I get them and put it all back together.
I was wondering why my interior lights and clock weren't working, I found a blown fuse 15 amp in the engine fuse box, for dome, put in a fuse and they work!
The plan is to get all the doors and tailgate working with keys and all the windows and power door locks working so I can just park it and not worry about it. If I could get the door panels in and everything works that's a plus.

Since I'm new at these 4Runners I am correct to "assume" that:
92-95 3.0 4Runners have interchangeable parts?
How about 2wd vs 4wd parts? Talking about body, interior, engine parts.
