I am going to make an attempt at removing the spray tint on the Marker lights today. I absolutely hate the way they look with it on. I thought about buying some new ones, but I want to save that money for carpet, or towards tires, a locker, or something along those lines.

I read a few threads on removing the stuff and I really dont want to use any kind of thinner, acetone, or aircraft stripper. As I know it will eat the plastic lenses. Interestingly enough.....I just found a thread that someone used Brake Fluid to remove it with good results.

After I got the bed done, I really wanted to get some Bedliner on the rails and tailgate. I was not planning on removing the existing liner as it would have taken to long. So I simply wire wheeled off any loose sections and also scraped out anything that would be a potential issue with the new liner going over top.

I started by masking everything off and then sanding down the bedrails with 320 Grit.

I really like the U-pol Raptor Liner and had some left over from my 4runner tub.

Came out decent. I only used two bottles. I did not want to waste any more on this as theres always the potential for it to come back up because of the existing liner that was there.

Finally picked up the cap.

Buddies dog dog had been peeing on it for about 6months. Smells horrible inside and out.

Went st to the car wash and scrubbed the outside and then scrubbed the inside with Clorox

God I hope the smell goes away.

Its actually a cap from a 1st gen Tacoma. So it sits very close to the cab. Nearly on it towards the top.

I always like a truck with the fiberglass shell on it. Just think they look better with one on. Helps protect the bed too.

Thanks Terry! I'm probably going to leave it on over winter and store it outside out the summer.

I doubt it. It's not a perfect fit and it's something I'm most likely only going to use in the winter or for camping or something relating to those two situations.

Well I ended up selling the Topper. It was for a Tacoma and did not quite fit right, and I was throwing more stuff in the bed that required the top being off. I think I am going to look for a topper for my F-150 instead.

Anyhow....... My wife got me some new rims for christmas. She was asking me what I wanted and I told her either carpet or rims. They were pretty close in price and I let her decide.

Kind of glad she chose the wheels!

Thanks man!!

Unfortunately he has already sold the 4runner for a late model silverado.... I was kind of bummed to hear that but it is what it is.

I am going to keep this one and keep fixing it up. At this point, the only thing I would sell it for would be a 2nd gen 22re 4runner, or a 3rd gen ex-cab 22re pickup.

I am going to finish the carpet, and start on the hunt for an elocker.

I never had a topper on a truck before. Always a fan of throwing stuff over the side. I get mixed reviews on a topper but thought it could be convenient at times. I know you said your gonna get one for the F150 but you think you'd ever consider putting one back on the yota? Looked good with it on I just worry I'd buy one and regret it in the end.

Nice wheels btw!

I think I might put one back on the Toyota if it was an Aluminum one. Easier to take on and off. Truth be told, it would be off more than on for me.

I would benefit more from having one on my F-150 since we use it to travel more often. And having a cap on it wold allow us to haul more stuff.

Thanks! I really like how they look on the Truck. Now I just need 33's!

Thanks Terry! I dont seem to get the opportunity to drive it as much as I would like. I cannot get the booster seats in it for my kids. Otherwise I could have the opportunity to drive it every day. Miss my 4Runner for this reason.

Thanks ED! I really like how they added a simple touch to the look of the truck. I am not a fan of White letters out. Even in my younger days I did not care for them.
