Well a little update. The coilpacks I got are complete crap, engine will kinda run, not well though. Ordered a new coil pack from rockauto. Everything else is mostly done though, gotta tiddy up some wiring. Also finish up the exhaust.

Once it get it running well I will post a video and some more pictures.

Well I had a dumb moment for today. Found out you need to have the coils wired in series instead of parrell for them to work with EDIS4. Which means the coil packs are not getting fully charged in which is causing the very weak spark. Today the startup video will be posted.

Nicely done. I like how you, from the start went with the stand alone ECU and the mega squirt. Trying to figure out the stock toyota re"t" ECU and adapt it into the system would be too big of a pain. I would like to know more about how you got everything wired up, for example the cold star injector time switch, and other various sensors.

The cold start stuff is no longer required due to the microsquirt being way newer. Only used the stock coolent sensor and TPS. Thats it.

This write-up made it real easy to do also. http://www.diyautotune.com/tech_arti...oyota_22re.htm

Well did some more tuning today. Fixed another exhaust leak in the manifold gasket. All I have to say this was well worth it. Running 4psi with this turbo. Pressure is almost instant. Will roast the 31's with no problems. I would say it pulls much harder then a 5VZ.

Well did the new coil pack and wires. Adjusted the valve lash, changed the oil to Rotella T6 5w-40. Did a lot more tuning. Engine runs great with 6psi.

Still running fine btw....

Just sent some money to wabfab for some bumpers and stuff. Also have some 4.88 gears on the way and aussie locker for the front. Stay tuned.

New paint btw.

Going to be rebuilding the rear drums. Wheel cylinder decided to start leaking while I was out in the mountains yesterday. So ordered new shoes, wheel cylinders and hardware.

How does the 261c cam work with the turbo? I'd imagine it'd be awesome down low with the small turbo. But can you tell me what the power is like? Cuz I was gonna go with the 268 and not sure if it would even make a huge difference. But I haven't seen anyone with that setup. Thanks and great work!

Works great, lots of low end, but mind you I am on a standalone.
