Didnt bag anything. My buddy did get his biggest buck. A nice 4x4 muley. He was a fat boy. We had to drag him at least 1/2 mile out the mountains then prob another 1/2 to the truck. So now im gonna try to get back on the truck.

Havent had time. Gonna work on it some this weekend hopefully. With no garage and winter in colorado, so not fun working outside. Gonna weld seat brackets and might get brake pads and put new ball joints rotors and pads on.

Got the ball joints in on the driver side. had to get new grease gun and pitmen arm puller. Used the puller for popping out the upper ball joint. Did great. Bounced back to dayshift for next 2 weeks then back to swings shift, i prefer swings. Heres the old driver side ball joints.

Finally got my lazy butt and got some work done. Got the passender side ball joints off, took longer then expected. Opened up the boxes and found that the upper ball joints didnt have the studs!! So gonna get some from parts store this weekend. Also made a new switch panel that will go were there ash tray would. Will post pics of it. Used some interior pieces from the eclipes that my sister had to make it. Knew it was a good idea to get them off it Got 2 of the 4 3/4" LED amber lights that will go up in the corners lights for the turn signal conversion. Have got any new corner lights yet. Hope to get the hood and fender and lights sometime in june maybe july. Depends on how far into(Much I spend) house projects I get. Will upload pics in next day or 2.

Xtra Cab storage box

Got this one from 2nd gen Xtra cab rear seat box
Did the best I can, Im not carpenter, Used my cordless drill, circular saw, and jig saw. Used Plywood and sprayed it with undercoating. A guy I work with suggested doing the undercoating if I wanted to use spray paint later on.

Some of the parts i got out the eclipes my sister had before were the center console and the side panels of the center console, So I decied to use one of the side pieces(plastic) to make a switch panel for where the ash tray goes.

Also got the Aux fuse panel installed, and the ball joints installed. The Yoda is slowly coming back together. Got the radiator bracket brazed back on last week while I was over at my buddys house. Then helped him install his homemade snorkle to his j**p YJ. He had just put the 4" lift on it to go with the 2" body and has it sitting on just 31's for now and it took me a little to get in it and Im 6'3" lol Then we got bored and deciede to see how the flex was using the skid steer he has. Will upload a couple of those pics too. It was fun. Working on wiring in the stereo and switches, but got to get speaker wire.

So i've been a little lazy and busy haha. Middle of a 10 day work week. And have been bouncing all over different shifts. But a few updates. Did get the new mirrors mounted, had to re-use all screws cause the included ones were a little short, also had to trim the mirrors a little to get them to sit flush. But they are on. Got teh Aux fuse box in and the stereo wired and the switches for my lights wired. Been really busy with home, had new carpet done, put up new front pourch and working on back patio. Hoping to go out to the U pull and pay soon to get final parts needed to put it back on road.

Think of going with Tread Wright tires, but they dont have a 33x12.5R15 but they do have 285/70R16 that are a true 33"s might just have to look at the yard and see if they have any 16" tacoma rims. Not sure. I know i can get prob buy the rims and get all 5 tires for what it would cost me to get a set of brand new bfg 33's. Also thinking about new color for the truck. GM has a Dark blue metalic i like, might do that and bed line the rocker panels. I know Dupli Color sells it in the 6 oz cans, and I think the local parts stores have that color. or i will order a case off amazon. Not sure. Hope to do some more to the truck soon

Turn signal lights moved in to corner lights.

So finally got some stuff done on the truck. Just a little project I had wanted to do since I saw it in a Toyota Offroad owners mag. Cant remember the month it was in but will find out. Will be putting all of it in a thread but heres a few pics and info.
Used 4- 3/4" LED round lights and mounted them in to my brand new corner lights cause I didnt want my signals in my bumper anymore, plus gonna make a custon bumper.
Heres a few pics.

Ill let you know. Im actually thinking of getting the Dupli Color Shadow, chrome black out spray and doing my rims and rollbar in that. They all got some rust on them. The rims were the ones on it when I bought the truck in 2003 and I got the rollbar in 2004. So there weathered. Not 100% yet

Just catching up on your thread and seems you have been making some progress. Great job. The try that comes in these extra cabs is flimsy. I can see why many trucks no longer have them. Your idea is more practical and useable. Great job.
