Thanks for the tips on the sound deadening and fasteners. I like the look of the screws and countersunk washers however I'm trying to keep the interior looking fairly stock, but will definitely be using that idea for future projects.
My daily driver (pictured) is a 1988 Nissan Skyline wagon. They were built in both Japan and Australia. Mine is a high spec Australian model with a few JDM parts. They come out with a SOHC 3.0 6 cylinder (RB30E) but I've swapped to a DOHC 2.5 6 cylinder (RB25DE)

Got my engine back today. Spent the evening cleaning it and giving it a quick paint. Might as well make it look nice while it's out.

So I got the motor back in and got it running, went to back it out of the shed and it felt like the front end was jamming and then releasing. I worked out the front right Auto Locking Hub was stuck in the locked position. I wanted to change to manual hubs anyway so I ordered a pair and pulled the old ones off.

rear heaters were a factory option for base models and came with most SR5 packages. they work great for baking your toes and making your feet sweat, but is prone to leaking from the fittings under the body and in the engine bay (its tied into the factory heater system with a T-Valve).
