Well I picked up some ball joint spacers, will wait to install when I freshen up the suspension and replace all the bushings with poly ones. I've.decided to save money for an ome lift.

Just ordered some shocks from 4wheelparts. Thay are skyjacker hydro 7000 part numbers are front sky7052 back sky7022 , these are for 2" lift.
Should work alright for now, am going back to work tomorrow so i will be able to order the ome900 coils for the rear soon as well as some extended brake lines, bushings, panhard drop bracket and steering stabilizer. Will post pics when they arrive.

Shocks are on and work great, super smooth front end. I also removed the front sway bar for now, will end up getting some quick discos for the back bar as it sways a bit on corners.

Installed a moog trail boss steering stabilizer a few weeks ago and it works great, was easy to install.

You doing FJ80 coils in the rear? Watch for rust near the rear fender when you take off the running boards.

Looking forward to a new 2nd Gen build to watch. It's my favorite series looks wise.

Love the colour too. :D

Still undecided on either fj80 coils or the ome coils, but im leaning towards the fj ones.

You can get Old Man Emu FJ80 coils. That's what I have in mine now.

Thats a good idea, i'll have to check into that.

If you get ome 80 springs your gonna wanna be careful what you get.

Even the stock height ones have given some 80s a lift when there springs have been sagging.

So i can only imagine what some would to the runners.

Havent been on here for a while now the only real update is the low pro bumpstops I got now, it nets about an inch of extra up travel

crazytoyota4x4 02-07-2014 07:27 PM

Just ordered ome 901 hd coils for the back and will be looking for some lockout hubs

Red Wagon 02-08-2014 09:39 AM

After the hubs go to the wrecker and pull out the centre axle tube and eliminate your ADD axle tube. It's weaker and the vacuum system can cause problems. As you will have hubs might as well go all the way.

Good luck.
