Well I just ordered a new pair of t100 axles, they have the upgraded poly boot so they should last longer than the stock rubber ones. I cant wait to take the Runner out in 4x4 and let her have it......muahaha.

Just installed the t100 axles on the 4runner yesterday, it was fairly simple, I just unbolted the upper ball-joint slid the axle in and bolted it to the front diff, pretty straight forward. I seemed to have misplaced the camera, but when I find it Ill take some more pics and some vid with 4x4.

Havent upgraded the torsion bars yet but they are way to stiff when cranked up and I will try to get the swayaways next, as long as the steering holds up for now!

Well everyone my 3.slow finally took a dump.....aka headgaskets. The funny thing is it was still faster than my friends 3vz 4runner and Im only running on 4 cyls! If anyone could recommend a good head gasket id appreciate, Ive checked into the lcengineering.com ones and they seem pretty good, anyone try them? I also just found out that my ignitor is off a 86 celica 3sfe and was wondering does this unit have better spark? Ill check the part # and post it here in a little while.

Try opening the pictures with Microsoft Office Picture Manager or something. Then go to "pictures" and choose compress photos. You need to compress the file size to upload.

I am looking to add reader rides to the Blazeland Website! I have a three photos per customer sequence started on the in action page. If you want, send them to me and I will post them on my website.

Well today I went out and 4x a little bit and ended up breaking a t100 cv axle from AUP. Are the oem ones the strongest????? I need to upgrade these before I break another one.

Yes the Genuine Toyota CVs are the best. Do you still have the reciept from the one you broke? Maybe it can be exchanged under the warranty terms? Thats another route you can go. Just carry a spare and get the CVs with a lifetime warranty. Swapping one out is fairly simple once you get the technique down. Call me if you want and I will walk you through it or at least give you a couple of tips that might make it easyer.

Well, a couple months ago I sold my blazeland lt kit and have been really missing it ever since. So today I put the money in the mail for my second Blazeland kit! I have opted to go with a 2.0 coilover from foa this time around and will be using the blazeland shock hoops, which will be ordered in 2 more weeks. When I install i will take pics along the way this time.

Just got my shocks in yesterday and my coil springs, they are at the local motorcycle shop being filled with nitrogen to 150 psi. Also heres some pics of the shock hoops ad brackets. Will take pics of the shocks when I get them back.

I'm just a bit skeptical of those shock hoops holding the entire front end up. Not welded to the frame and only attached in 2 maybe 3 spots?

There is welding! This setup has been on my 1986 xtra cab truck for years as a complete coil over conversion, not just shock hoops! My rig has a Ford 302 motor with cast iron block and heads and a super heavy front bumper. It utilizes 700 lb coil springs. I have not had any issues regarding strength. Initially I was planning on building a strut over the engine but decided it wasn't necessary after Pre-Running the 2009 Baja 250 with out incident. I've had 4 or 5 people run these hoops over the past year.

I like the coil over conversion on my truck because it allowed me to use the Factory Mustang headers and keeps everything smog legal. If the headers didn't interfere with the torsion bar setup I would be using a "Coil Over Assist" that I had on my 4 Runner. This setup used the stock 22.5mm t-bars with almost no preload cranked in and a light weight 250lb coil spring. The spring load on the hoops is cut by more than half. It also results in a dual spring rate. A Coil over assist is the way to go for ultimate strenght. It also allows two places to adjust pre-loads.
