Thanks, Yeah I really like how it turned out. I got the balljoints all installed today, took me hours getting the broken balljoint out. Finally got it out with one of those air powered hammers. So now I need to get the U bolts done so I can drive it. Thinking about just going to the junk yard for stock ones, and if they don't have them, I guess I'm just gonna have to make the ones I have work.

Well, the junk yard didn't have any u-bolts, so I just went ahead and ordered some online and cut off the u-bolts I tried getting on the rear axle. The threads were just too jacked up.

So does anybody have any suggestions for getting my other hub off. The few methods I've read is hammer and flathead screwdriver, Brass bar and hammer which I don't have, and heating up the washers with a torch or something and apparently they pop out.

Cone washers came out finally with the help of my dad. At first I was nervous because he started hitting the hub with a hammer, but then I showed him this pictire from this link - http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/mainte...eardown/01.jpg , and he had an idea of what we could use to recreate the method from the picture.

First he grabbed a nut that was the same size and thread as the dowel, and threaded on there so when he hammers on it, it doesn't damage the thread.


Then he grabs this punch from the garage


And he starts hammerin on it and the cone washers came out so easily I was amazed.


So then I got the other T100 cv axle on there and everything is ready to go after I receive those new U-bolts on maybe tuesday hopefully.

Tsup yotatech, I was having a hard time finding U-bolts because it turns out they weren't stock. I don't know why, but it delayed me for about a week. Very frustrating and disappointing because I just wanted to drive my truck again. I finally went to Eureka Spring and Iron, and I got it done in one day and cheaper than the stock ones from toyota.
The ride is very different now, in a good way. Can't wait to get the truck aligned, but here are some before and after pics.

Any thoughts on the U-Bolts?
I don't think it was from the trailmaster lift kit because it only came with blocks, but it's an older kit so I don't know.
The U-bolts are about half an inch wider. Any thoughts of where it came from?

Went offroad today. The blazeland kit dampens the bumps pretty good, I didn't really go too fast because the trucks still out of alignment, but it was fun. Found a nice little mudpit.

Went to Les Schwab to get my truck aligned today, but they said they couldn't do it lol. They asked me what kind of suspension it was, and said I'd have to try another place. Was kinda disappointed but whatever, there's a couple other places I could try I guess.

Don't stress, its not that that it can't be aligned..... its just this particular Les Schwab shop is not wanting the work. Crazy in this economy! The staff is probably lazy or greedy and since its not a typical wham bam thankyou mammy..... easy money job, not worth their time. They may not have skilled technicians or adequate equipment? Maybe its just policy not to align lifted rigs, who knows?

Yeah dude, I know it can be aligned, people just wont do it lol. Oh well, I'll get it done sooner or later. Goin to chico state next wednesday so I guess the truck mods will end here at this point. Gonna change oil, and go.

Yeah I finally got it aligned at the Fortuna Les Schwab. All I said was that it has a custom suspension, and they went and got the alignment as best as they could, no questions asked.

Just had to add my two cents worth, get yourself a set of brass drifts. They last forever and won't damage threads. You'll need them whenever you service your hub or do a brake job.

Was the lesson for me today.... Anyways, I'm back in town, and went offroading with a friend, and I was going fast and what not, before getting on the highway, I always check for damages, then I found that one of the axles had sheared off or something and the other axles clamp had fallen off making the boot loose. So don't buy cheap axles unless you're really on a budget.....like me lol.





So another pair coming tomorrow, I also ordered sway-a-way torsion bars a week ago from poly performance because the stock ones are starting to sag, as forewarned by BlazeN8. So Yeah, Happy Holidays everyone.
