Camshaft/Head upgrade 22re
 

I am elbow deep in a head gasket repalcement on my '93 pickup. I am putting consideration into a new camshaft possibly an upgraded head. Has anyone upgraded either? Companies to consider? How satisfied were you with the performance to cost ratio?

Engine builders is my #1 suggestion for head or cam or head/cam combo

#2 is LCE but there expensive

I'm running a 261 Crawler cam from engine builders. It's only a lil over 100 and it is a direct bolt in.

Awesome. I've purchased from both of these guys. How is that cam working out for you?

I'm highly satisfied with it. It has a good mod range low end power band that helps me with towing. I called them and told them exactly what I had and how I used my truck and they recommended the cam I have.
