Kytoy 84 pickup build up

This is my first post on here but will be a good build up I think.

Started with this

And got to this

Motor and tranny in

Rear end is good you can see that in last pic

Cab on with doors fenders and grill the cab is off an 86 bought it all seperate pretty much

Anyone know where these seats came from? I do and they are way better then that bench seat

And my flat bed with my keg for fuel

the feed for the fuel getting a inline fuel pump here soon

New parts should be here soon to go with this and my camera died before I could take more pics of my other parts.

With the way I built the back 1/4 of the frame it gave me lift so the front sits too low, I am doing the RUF swap when I get my high steer kit and u bolt flip kit in the mail hopefully this week. After that I am planning on caging it but not sure if I should do it before or after tires. Plan on 35x14.50 rear and 35x12.50 front I live where there aren't many rocks to crawl so not really sure about tire size and all just yet and gears either. Stay tuned she isn't near done.

mount it as far forward as you can...you will need to do some trimming around the core support.
What size springs do you have? 3" minimum for high steer.
here is a good example of mounting the box...which I had seen this before I did mine, my angle looks like crap

what you don't want to have happen when you install your high steer:

Okay got the old stock leafs out today and started to install the high steer and ruf. Do I need to move the rear shackle mounts on the front leafs or can they be used in the stock location? I have been told both ways will work.

Okay so I have ruf done I have longer rears in back installed. High steer kit installed u-bolt flip kit installed. I have a question though. I need to know which plug on the pump and the box is the high pressure lines? It would be way easier to have someone let me know over installing and having them be wrong and taking it all back apart.

I'm not sure about the pressure line, but I'd sure like to see pics of your RUF and hi-steer installed!

with the steering gear installed there are the two ports, one sitting a little closer to the input splines and inboard, and the second is a little farther down the steering gear and outboard. the outboard one is the high pressure port.

First trip out she did alright had to change a couple things, Rear springs no good. Installed some 79 f-150 2wd springs and she sits a little higher in the rear now but not terrible. Installing dual cases this week sometime and she should be good to go after that.

Nice looking rig. Few ?'s though. Did u move rear mounts back on front springs ? Who did u go thru for hi steer ? What is ruf, assuming it refers to type of lift, just don't know. F150 springs, is that for flex ? Would love to c a parts list and what your running for gears and such. Any help would really help me out thanks.

Answer: No I did not move my spring hangers for front leaf springs. High steer I went with trail gear althought I am about to be selling that and ordering full hydro next week and linking the front starting in two weeks. RUF is rears up front take stock toyota springs and I added two more leafs(cut down) and through them in the front. Adds small lift and flexes decent. Yes the f150 springs were for more flex and so I could keep my deparcher angle.

Parts list is as followed but probly forgot somethin here or there.

Longfield drive flanges
Longfield 30's
Yukon grizzly locker up front on 4.38 gears. Welded rear with matching gears
Marlin dual case adapter with two top shifts cases.
trail gear dual case crossmember
trail gear high steer
custom front and rear driveshafts (unbalanced)
Qs components heims with weld in bung jam nuts and high misalignment spacers.
fox 16" air shocks
soon to be beadlocks in rear also I have rings and wheels here just been building other rigs and breaking stuff ha
Rebuilt motor top to bottom just a couple weeks ago.
All aluminum radiator
Stage 2 ebay clutch
Truck was also converted from carb to efi truck
Not sure what I am forgetting but sure

On the way heims for front 4 link
16" air shocks from fox (on sale)
full hydro steering gets ordered next week and then the fun begins on the build
