1985 4runner sr5. gold/white original rare paint.

So, I got myself an original as can be 1985 4runner SR5. I searched and searched and finally found one. 222k, rebuilt 11k ago. Tons of new parts. No rust. Wanna build it up a bit. OME lift, ARB lockers and 31's. All I want is it to get me where I need to go.

She lived in San Bernadino, CA. Originally bought off the lot in UT. Original paint job is cool though.

Love the factory chrome wheels. How's the interior on this thing? Cool to see you still have it a few years later!

The interior is perfect. I mounted speakers to doors in pods rather than cutting holes just to keep truck original. All Speakers have been replaced and there are 210 inch subwoofers in the back. There are 3 Amplifiers tucked away in the vehicles numerous hiding spots. Truck doesn’t have moonroof or SR5 seats. It has every other option.

Awesome! The moon roof is just another spot for water to get in.

Did you go with the "medium" or "hd" springs? Curious as to the ride quality since i am thinking of getting emu lift springs soon.

thanks

Curious, Is it a 2" lift with the Old Man EMUs and did you change your shackles? Just would like to know if you were able to keep your stock sway bars.
Truck looks great
Oh, and one more thing, I really think you should bring that truck "back to Utah"

I went with the full OME kit, including shackles. I did not have to make a single modification to truck. Everything bolted right up and works great. I went with medium springs in rear and light in front. Ride quality is significantly better.

Which height of lift? 2 inch or more?
