long time gone

well fellas. im back. ran into some major health issues that nearly took me out of the game. pretty much had to get rid of or sell my entire inventory of trucks and or parts for the med bills. anyway, getting back on the horse and starting with a much easier project for now. its a 96 4runner that im just gonna do some cosmetic stuff to for now, but im sure i will dig into it much deeper here in the future.

Thanks Terry. Looking forward to getting back into the group. If you need any 79-83 parts, let me know. I still have quite a few body, engine, and interior parts.

That is a great looking 2nd gen in the picture. The bed on the 1st gen looks extremely long.

Thanks Terry. Yep, the p/o stretched it out and put a massive suspension system under it. I bought it for the engine which i put in my 86 4 runner.

Hey flg8r22, its one of your earliest posts but what did you use to media blast your frame. Im considering getting a pressure pot that I can later convert to work for my cabinet but first using it to blast the frame. Just curious on your thoughts. Thanks.

I used a heavy glass on the bad parts of the frame and a medium glass on the rest. It cleaned it up well. Just made a huge mess. I bought the media from a supplier in Georgia. IIRC I went through 2 bags doing the frame, springs, and axles.
