I realize I haven't posted in awhile, I have been extremely busy at school.
the new cab is almost ready to go on the frame, minus minor things.
I installed a pair of 5.29 Yukon gears at school. It took nearly three days as I have never tackled diffs before.
I am hoping the truck will be back on the road next weekend.

I realize i haven't posted in a while but here is the progress on the truck:
It is running and driving (thanks to a MSD ignition module)
The truck is 99% complete minus a few minor issues. I am waiting for the front grille and bumper to arrive.
I am trying to find a new 22r to build a 20r/22r hybrid to replace the old tired one in my truck. It has been burning quite a bit of oil and only has 90psi of compression per cylinder. (goodbye tax return!)
I am trying to figure out which shocks to go with as mine are way too short for the lift I have. I am thinking of going with rough country just from a cost standpoint.
the 5.29's made a world of difference but I have to pull the rear third member again to fix an oil leak from where the third member goes into the housing.
Here are some recent pics:

I have been slowly making some more progress on the truck. I got rid of the all terrains, and have stockpiled a bunch of parts for the upcoming project. I am I the middle of building a 20/22r hybrid, installing a rebuilt transmission with a marlin 4.7 tcase, putting 63's on the rear and the tears up front with hysteer. I am trying to fit lockers into the budget. I am also going through and installing a new cab again😤. The one I installed after the wreck was dropped with a forklift and the doors/fenders won't line up. I just ordered an all fiberglass dash that I will be putting an aftermarket gauge cluster I picked up into.
I found The cab local for $50 with only surface rust, no holes in the floor.
I am hoping to have the truck back together by April so I have some long nights ahead of me

I also purchased a tubing bender and welder so some nice bumpers and sliders are also going to be built when the truck is back together
