I DD my Runner. We sometimes offroad the '00 Explorer, depending on where we're going and how far away. Road trips are much more comfortable in Splodey, not to mention faster.

Ny DD is my trusty $400 '88 toyota 4x4 regular cab, 220k on the clock and still running strong, new t-chain, h20 pump, radiator, alternator, brakes, clutch, tranny, tires, wait a sec... it's friggin almost all new under the hood.

My other DD is a '99 Saab 9-5 turbo v6 that I picked up and did a engine swap. I call it my swedish chevy since it's got a damn Caddilac Catera motor in it. Got $1300 into that car and love it.

My other rig... the new 2 me 4 runner, '95, 4" lift, 33's, $1700 for that sweet ride.

Guess it's turned into a hobby of mine to find the nicest cars/trucks for the least $$$

My daily driver depends on the distance to the job site.

If its less than 10-15 miles I'll drive the 86 4Runner.

If its over 15 miles or raining I'll drive my 98 Subi Outback.

The wife switches between her 09 Yamaha FZ6R or the 05 Tacoma

I used to DD my 90 but it's getting rusty in the floors and rockers.... So it went out into my shop to get an sas and body job .... now I DD a 2001 Jetta TDI it was the most logical choice with the length of my comute. I have always driven trucks and was worried I wouldn't like the car but I love it it's loaded heated seats and 50Mpg is awesome.....

My DD for last 2 years is a 97 Lexus LS400 that I pulled/rebuilt from the crusher row...fast, fun, 28mpg (not at the same time) but worthless in snow.

Before that is my 88 2WD that have owned for 17 years, wife discovered it 5 years ago as her DD so I had to find something else.

99 Camry LE as family car (blah) and 94 4X4 22RE 5spd as winter driver (double-blah).

Almost forgot my favorite that has 120k miles..engine blown twice, rolled twice 88 4X4 22RE 5spd that I use as wood hauler/farm beater and is nice to keep around in case my tractor gets stuck. This was winter DD for few years also. I plan on this fixing up in the future as there is NO rust on the frame.

Used to DD an 88 Camry wagon 338k miles ( best car I ever owned), also owned a 91 Land Cruiser 100k miles (worst Toyota I ever owned... Camry does much better in snow and mud).

I've been driving my 95.5 Tacoma for a daily for 9 years.I've driven it around the states twice and across Canada. My wife used it for a few years as her "field research vehicle" during college. Had a 93 Legacy sedan for a year. Got rid of that on a trade for a 2000 4runner for her. Now she has a proper "field research vehicle". Lots of room for gear inside and on top (thule cargo basket). Makes me want a 4runner.

a 94 chevy s-10 with 200k miles, runs like a top, 5 speed, and with 25 mpg i cant beat it, does all the hauling i need for yota stuff!

You can find Subaru's for cheap if you look,
I got this 96 Outback with 130k on it with blown head gaskets for $1200, $100 to resurface the heads and $200 for the gasket kit from Napa and I have a running, driving car for my wife
The head gaskets are really easy to do, you don't even have to remove the intake manifold.

Not sure what kind of feedback ill get for my daily driver but now that i have my old yota back ill probably be driving it more then this.

2010 Rubicon. 3.5" RE lift, 37" pitbull rockers, 5.13s, F/R bumpers, winch and rocker armor. Wheels like a champ. I have to say though its a little intimidating wheeling a $30k rig haha. The rocker guards cover a fat dent in the tub that i put in it when it had about 5k miles on it. Took it wheeling for the first time with 700 miles on the clock.
