locker or LSD for a 4x2 pick up?

hello all,
my dad is giving me his old truck....a 2k dodge ram laramie. since it's only 2wd, and i live out in the country with two steep hills to traverse getting in and out of my property, i have concerns with adequate traction. i'll see how it goes once i have it and have a few drives in a variety of circumstance, but if need be i want to put a locker with an in-cab switch or perhaps a limited slip. i think i'd rather go with the locker, though, since LSD's can be tricky in certain situations and/or be pointless in others. otoh, prices could be the determining factor

at any rate, i could use some guidance on good brands for either and if you have experience or reliable knowledge of the best choices

thanks!!!

i'm thinking maybe a powertrax lock right selectable? any good? not terribly expensive and it seems it's something i can put in myself without messing with the pinion and stuff

powertrax no-slip i think is gonna be the way to go. same cost as lock rite, but better road behavior and quieter
