roll-on bed liner on a boat?

i was wondering if anyone has ever used roll-on bed liner on the bottom of their boats before. the reason i ask is because the paint doesnt stay on my boat very long due to sliding it in and out of the back of my truck and hitting stumps when the river gets low. would the bed liner work on my aluminum boat? pics would be greatly appreciated if any of you guys have done it.

would probably work fine however it would cause alot of drag in the water. my advice would be to get it powder coated. the place by me charges 100 bucks to turn the oven on and all the stuff you can cram in there. might be an alternative option

Epoxy paint might do it, and not have the drag bed liner would. Look at the paints they use on industrial applications like ships/tugs that stuffs hard as a rock.

I personally don't link this kind of stuff in my boat. The product is very heavy and will add a lot of weight to the boat. There are several fellows that have coated the inside of their boats and it just makes me cringe. The product is not made to lay smooth. The only possible acceptable reason for me to put bead liner in a boat would be to cover up ugly stuff such as holes and nasty fiberglass, etc. It will still add weight. Some guys have used it on the Hybrid boats and were getting roughly a 50-50 split on success vs failure.

I wouldn't shy away from the 12-1500 dollar range if you only want to have a car for two years or so. Then if you do, you can still get half that back unless the body is rotten.
