Cool Skiing / Boarding: Warren Miller’s “Impact”

Oh man, does this look sweet or what. I have missed the past few years of his annual films, but not this year. We are so going.

For those of you who don’t know about Warren Miller films, check out his website.

And if you are still not convinced, watch this trailer and allow your adrenaline to start flowing!

Warren Miller is great. I seen a Bio on him last year and was amazed at the places he traveled to ski when he was younger and the equipment he used.

I saw Storm and wasn't impressed. Currently trying to decide whether to go this year. You do get a free lift ticket to Copper mtn and to Winter Park but they're soo restricted I'm not sure its worth it.

Who knows, maybe this year's movie will be better.

Bragger! I was messing with the Mammoth Web Cam (adjustable) watching you one-planker wankers go down the hill. Jealousy is an understatement.

i heard he sold the biz to his son...

and from what i see, they are turning towards a diff direction. when i saw that comment "it's like jackass on snow..." i though that maybe they are going for the younger crowd.

althought glad to see glenn plake (sp?) is still around... that dude with the spikey hair ruled...

I met him at a ski show in Seattle. Nice guy to me, but really mean to his wife.

I think the warren miller movies are pretty sweet. i just hope my g/f can get free tickets again this year. but of course after i see these movies i always start thinking about how this is the year i am going to do a double back flip off of a 40 ft. cliff. anyways i can't wait untill some more mountains start to open (i just heard that vail pass is getting hammered).

i have seen the Warren Miller films for years now, and i have noticed a pattern, the years that i see the movie pre-season, i go snowboarding more then the years i dont get to see the movie... last year i saw it and had a great season, but this year they arent coming to town, so i wont get to see the movie, i just hope i can break the pattern and still get to go alot this year.

I heard Copper and Breck are opening up this weekend and that A-basin and Loveland have been open (on man-made) for a month. I'm REALLY bummed that I didn't get a 4-pack to Copper for 69$.

Un-beavable!

Maybe this year is the one I finally get a pass at Monarch (I say I'll ski Monarch every year, then never do)
