My BSA Goldstar (1959) project
 

My rare Goldstar project is not going so well lately. Or ever for that matter. I received this 500cc beast by truck a few years ago, and have not been able to do much with it since. My brother in California sent it to me. He said I WAS NOT too old to ride a bike anymore! I did get it started once and the flame that spewed from the exhaust pipe scared the hell out of me! I could see some of the Mikuni carb parts were missing so I got those. Still in a box. The spark was so weak ( need to remagnetize the mag?) I took the pickup off the mag to clean inside. Wonder if I'll ever get that back in place. These things are rare and expensive when restored ( $6-8-10thousand dollars maybe?) So I don't know what to do with it. Should I keep it or what? Any advice from other bikeers out there?
