I'm about to buy another motorcycle

going to go up to Pa tomorrow to confirm the deal and sign the paperwork. But its a 03 yamaha R6 with only 2K miles, custom exhaust, and I got the dealer to throw in some new tires front and rear. It is spotless. I'll post pics this weekend if everything goes to plan.

That was a quick turn around. Are you already tired of the can o tuna? At least you are buying at a good time of the year.

I would get the R1 now .. the problem is the insurance sky rockets if you get more then 600 cc bike.

I wanted a gsxr 750 .. but it would have been $1800/year to insure it.

plus this is probably going to be the best time of the year to get a new bike right when the season is ending.

3.5 hour drive up there to go pick it up on the tuna can and 3.5 hours back ... long ass day of driving.

Tossing this idea out there since you got to drive to go get it, you may want to consider one of these in the future since your upgrading bikes so often :
I got one a few weeks back and finally used it last weekend to take her in for her first service, nice since it was pretty nasty out

Will also say the runner did fine with it ..

I have found a great way to winterize my bikes. Much to my wife's dismay I store all of my bikes (6 of them) in the basement..

I got a new yammi ... man this thing is fast! Almost every time I pull on the throttle, the front wheel pops up, and with that micron pipe on there, I think I'm going to go deaf in about two days.

Glad to hear that you like it

Now imagine what I felt like learning on a modded R1 (exhaust, jetted, and geared)

WT how is that mototote holding up. I'm going to be doing about 6-7 track days this upcoming season. So either I get this, or I pick up a trailer from harbor freight.

Its holding up great and has worked flawless each time I have used it but I would recomend air bags in your rear springs if you do it often cause if not it will definately cause the front to raise up a bit when its on there but I have the airbags in my springs so no problems it rides level
Also if you have other need for a trailer that maybe a better way to go too.
Here some pics of loading time when I took it to OBX earlier this year.
