shift fork shaft

i broke mine. i'm not sure what one it is but it controls 1st and 2nd. i need one ASAP!!!

My 1st and 2nd gear shift fork in my 557 tranny is broken, can this be replaced fairly easily? I can wrench but have never opened one of these up.
