For Sale built 3rd gen 96 e-locker 5spd 4runner

I am selling a very clean 1996 toyota SR5 4runner 3.4L V6
The exterior is green and has taupe cloth interior
it is a 5spd manual with a new clutch installed last summer
just had the factory 100k mile service done
very well maintained, oil changed every 3k miles
and has just a tad over 102K miles

list of everything.
. factory elocker with 4.10 gears
. Brand new 285 BFG All terrains with only about 3K miles on them i have fullsize spare to go with them
. ARB tacoma bullbar w/ the WATRD framerail mod done for extra strength
. Warn M8000 winch w/ 100' 5/16" masterpull synthetic line and an aluminum fairlead
. Hella driving lamps are also mounted on the bumper and uses a factory fog switch inside the cab, very clean looking
. Rear Suspension: Old Man Emu rear heavy duty springs
Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks
has the steve schaefer panhard drop
and also has steel braided brake lines from marlin crawler
Differential breather installed
Front Suspension:SAW coilovers
revtek diff drop
. Stubbs sliders installed with scab plates and gussets.
. yakima roof rack with basket, fairing, and one bike tray
. Optima red top battery and spacers to make it fit properly.
. performance products grey seat covers for front seats only
. husky floor mats and husky liner for the cargo area
. cobra cb and cb antennae mounted on ARB bullbar
. pioneer 7600 CD/MP3 player very nice
. pioneer speakers in all the doors
. High lift jack mount in the rear
. New windshield

This truck has been very good to me, mainly because of the way i have maintained it over the years, it makes me very sad to sell. However the reason why i am selling my truck is because i have grown tired of the 5spd manual and would like an automatic. I am willing to go in on a trade for a 95-97 toyota landcruiser with front and rear lockers so any of you who like to trade please let me know i would be willing to add cash depending on what we are looking at. There is nothing mechanically wrong with my 4runner the only bad things are cosmetic, light scratches along the side of the body from branches, very hard to notice unless you are up close. But it has never been in a wreck or any major work done to it. I am asking

$12,500

But i am willing to take off things such the winch, lights, etc. to make the price lower. I really need to sell soon so please let anyone who is interested know. Here are some pics, i have more if you would like for me to email them to you. I am currently in Memphis, TN.

Willing to sell winch?

Would you be interested in selling the Winch, line and aluminum fairlead?
Nice truck, you must be sad to see it go. :(
Cheers ,

Your 4Runner was one of the first ones I saw before I purchased mine a few years ago. Saw it on 4x4Wire and it inspired me to hurry up and get mine. If you would be willing to part with the front bumper let me know, I would be interested in buying it off of you.

So sad to see your getting rid of it. Good luck with the sale!

Bump Up!

Too bad. If you decide too, will you let me know, I would be interested in the yakima rack stuff. I have two kayaks that I need to be able to transport. My fiance's parents live in Memphis also, so no shipping or anything would be involved.

Try advertising it locally before you start tearing it apart. Try on eBay as well.

heckler 06-13-2005 03:18 PM

Yeah i just put it in my local truck trader magazine.

I was also considering ebay. What kind of precautions do i need to take when i sell a truck like this on ebay? can anyone give me any pointers.

heckler 07-10-2005 06:07 PM

is now on ebay

I believe he's going to an FJ80?

heckler 07-11-2005 05:48 PM

Yeah the rear bumper or crawler box was the next step and that was reason why i am selling. I am not willing to change driveshafts and cut holes and i did not want to spend a ton a money for a custom bumper or for shipping one. I am in search of an FJ80 right now 95-97 with lockers front and rear. Steve why dont you go ahead and bid on it, you know you miss the IFS.

sschaefer3 07-11-2005 06:24 PM

I could add that rear bumper for cost of materials...............

heckler 07-12-2005 03:16 PM

Very tempting,

maybe you should work on some FJ80 sliders, because i wouldnt mind taken those from you.
