I have bought and sold a number of 4Runners and a Tacoma. I have always had much better luck (and service) with CARS.com over Autotrader. In fact, Autotrader burned me too many times and will never get my business again. Anyway, I took a look at your ad and it looks pretty good. However, I have some suggestions:

1. Change your default/large picture to an angle that makes it look bigger. For example, sit or lay on the ground and take a picture at the same angle, only looking up.

2. Ditch the clear corners and blinker lights. To a trained eye, that says "modded" all over it. Put the stock lights back in.

3. I think you are asking a bit much, especially for a 2WD. Might want to think about dropping that price down below $9K. $8950 "sounds" good, but it really depends on the market, KBB, and other factors. You might have to go even lower.

Again, nice looking 4R and your ad looks pretty good. I think with the changes mentioned above and a drop in price you will start to get some calls. Out of the 5 Toyota's I have sold, I have never sold one here on Yotatech. All have sold via CARS.com.

Good luck.

IMHO, I personally see nothing wrong with Autotrader if your a private seller. How a buyer or seller could could get burned is beyond me. If common sense is used, Autotrader is no different than listing it in your local classifieds. Ultimately it comes down to the SELLER and how honest he is. My .02

As for your 4runner... I recently bought a well maintained '96 4wd in excellent condition with upgraded '99-'02 major OEM accessories/parts for $8,400. It had 111,000 miles and was located in CA. I found it here on YT and actually flew out there and then drove it 1,200 miles back home. Use that as a comparision for a selling price. :great:
Good luck!

No, Autotrader the company burned me. As in no customer support when I had some issues with building my ad.

Cars.com is much more user-friendly and offers a run-till-it-sells policy, unlike the Autofader.
