Buy my 99 4runner Limited w/elec locker

Massachusetts
----
150,000 miles. mostly trips over 150 miles.

roof rack, sunroof, worn out leather, automagic A/C, rear heater,

beat up yet functional skidplates. Mobil 1 only, and on it's 3rd timing
belts and major services always done my toyota dealer.
----

mechanically sound. no codes. I/M ready, incl evap. SRS ready. A/C no codes.
it blew MAf AND o/2, A/F codes at me this summer and I cleaned the MAF and
replaced the sensors and it is rocking. passes emissions an has valid sticker.

gets 22.5 miles per gallon highway at 45-55mph. 20.1 at 70 miles per hour.
-----
original owner, bought new in 1998 and my daily driver up to, and including, now.

this is not pretty . it is a woods buggy. paint is chipped and fading, dent in liftgate but window still works fine. say it is a beater woods buggy and you are correct.

But it hasn't been abused. at 19,000 miles I rolled it over slowly, and it got a new roof and doors and hood, and that is the paint job that is fading. never as good as factory.

nothing but body work was done, as it was a 5 miles per hour slow roll into bushes.
----
anyhow, today, 2008, it is really nice, but looks like crud. so I don't expect a lot of loot. but everything that matters works fine.

tires- michelin LTX-MS, 95% tread left
brakes. new rotors and calipers and pads 8000 miles ago
brakes. new drums, e-brake pivots, and internal guts in rear 8000 miles ago
new a/f sensor, new o/2 sensor, new muffler and rear pipe
new rear heater pipes
tranny is on it's 3rd dealer computerized flush
engine is on it's 3rd set of all belts incl. timing
new starter
new alignment. it holds it's front end alignment fine

no leaks no drips

4wd full time, part time, 4wd lo. and locker, all work great. I use
them every weekend.

skid plates have been used. a lot. I do no bomb down trails I creep along
at 1-3mph, but still scrape here and there 'cuz it's a woods buggy

anyhow, for someone who wants a 4runner with the locker I am considering
selling my rig. again, it has been used. and looks it. not gonna win any contests. but it is one of the best maintained
where it matters and to me, looks don't matter but mechanical is what matters.

oh yeah I never wash it. look past the looks. or buy it, and part it out to 4wd buddies and
make a killing.

lemme know
