2001 sr5 sport harrisburg pa $6500 ***sold****

It is with a heavy heart to sell our 2001 silver sr5. It currently has 189,500 or so miles. We have owned it for over 12 years and have loved it almost every minute.
I really would like to get as close to $6500 as possible.

We are either the 2nd or 3 owners but i would have to check the carfax that we had received when we had purchased it from the toyota dealer in 2005. It had 72k on the clock when we had purchased it.

At that time, there were no accidents. I had hit two deer about 2-3 years ago. I had hit both around 45 mph. Each one damaged the passenger front. Both times the bumper was replaced and the 2nd time the grill was replaced also. The day after i got the rig back, I hit another 3 or 4 miles from where i had hit the 1st one. It was the exact same damage. The damage was limited to the bumper area. No frame or other damage occurred. It was lightly hit over 11 years ago to the rear bumper and i think it was around $300 to have it fixed. The other time someone hit it while it was sitting in a parking lot and the front bumper had to be replaced again along with having to remove the brush guard.

It has had three front bumpers replaced since we've had it.

Everything works as expected and the motor is strong. AS strong as a 3.4 can be.

We have most records or receipts. There are a few i can't find must most are in the folder.

I started to keep records in a notebook in 2010 and besides oil changes and regular stuff, this is what was done;

9/11/10 133,404 replaced e-brake cable
11/13/10 flushed brakes replaced fuel filter
6/6/11 139,963 replaced front struts/springs, sway bar links and rear shocks
7/30/11 replaced battery
7/6/12 145,050 recharged ac
10/13/12 flushed coolant
11/26/12 147,015 changed rear diff fluid
1/20/13 148,151 new geolander tires and alignment
1/25/13148,171 new lifetime muffler and tailpipe
2/10/14 153,637 replaced front pads and rotors
6/21/14 155,750 replaced receiver/dryer and had ac recharged
2/7/15 158,697 replaced battery
2/20/15 158,832 replaced lifetime wires
4/19/15 160,426 dropped trans fluid and replaced with 5.5 qts.
8/7/15 166,325 replaced muffler under warranty with a walker
8/12/15 166,581 replaced front pads and rotors with better quality, still on rig
11/14/15 170,537 replaced rear springs and shocks
11/16/15 170,677 alignment, and replaced rear axle seals at toyota dealer, they were leaking
11/23/15 171,077 replaced rear shoes and drums and some hardware
12/2/15 171,604 replaced foglights with hella de
12/5/17 171,743 installed new hella horns
2/19/16 174,109 replaced fuel filter
1/28/16 172,809 repaired front end damage again from hitting deer.
3/1/16 175,290 drained trans fluid & refilled with 1 gallon of valvoline max life atf
4/29/16 178,081 put on new tacoma wheels and tires, recharged ac
8/13/16 180,996 replaced radiator. it blew and overheated this radiator was replaced about 10 years ago. No damage done
12/12/16 183,760 replaced plug wires again under warranty

The starter, radiator, and plug wires have a lifetime warranty with advance auto. I had purchased the tacoma wheels with toyo tires from someone last year. They are really quiet.

I did have a strawberry milkshake before 2010. It was only driven about 15-20 miles as it was bucking. It was a PITA to fix, but it was done. The radiator was replaced, the coolant was flushed several times and so was the trans fluid.

This was the dog hauler so it is starting to smell a little like one, but it's not that bad. We notice it more when they are in there. The dog hair was cleaned up recently, but it will be dog hair free soon.

We typically get 15-17 mpg and if we aren't doing 80, you can get 19-20.

There is very minimal rust underneath but there is some, you won't be disappointed. the 4wd works well and there aren't any trouble codes. We may have replaced an oxygen sensor sometime as these thing will go through one from time to time. I do have the factory head unit as i haven't decided if the alpine that is in there will be sold with it.

The windshield is original and has a small pucker/circle thing from the po. they had repaired it and we have never had any issues with it.

There aren't any tears or anything that is broken in the interior. We have the original cloth floormats and rubber ones that are in there now.

You will not be disappointed in this rig and the price is pretty firm.

The tires roll nicely and like some others, sometimes it takes a few miles for any vibration go away if it ever does vibrate at all. This happens on all of our vehicles with new tires. It must be the way they make them or it could benefit from a rebalancing. It has been over a year since they have been balanced.

The driver mirror has always had a rattle to it. It's not loose like it wants to fall off, but it rattles a bit and i never really cared to fix it. We did have it painted since the paint was spider webbed. The passenger mirror paint is work for whatever reason.

Just the other day a rock or road debris hit the passenger front door and it richoched(sic) off the passenger rear door flare. The only other ding is on the passenger side front door where a bike rack fell off the wall. It hit around the mirror but i can't photograph it.

There is a roof rack and towing package that we have never used. there are two remotes. This is a weak point of this rig, and it really pisses me off. The range is horrible.

You will not be disappointed and the price is for the most part n line with other rigs. This is a really clean one and you must see it. I will be on vacation until after 7/10 so any visits to our baby will have to hold off until then.

The passenger valve cover does weep oil, but it doesn't use any. The trans pan also weeps but there isn't any usage.
