Well, I'm forced to admit (after dissing BFG's here) that much to my surprise the A/T's developed greatly improved grip after 6K miles. Counterintuitive, but an interesting change for the better that's changed my opinion from negative to neutral. Still not the grip of Nitto A/T's, but the trend is up and I won't have to carry chains to ski areas this Winter with the snow rating.
