What PSI (pressure) are you running?
 

I had mine at 34 a week ago and just put them up to 60 for fuel efficiency but its way too stiff, it seems my body takes the hit for every bump haha, just wanted to see what people were running on road

Ouch, that's some serious air! I run mine at 35, tried 40, but thought that was even a little firm for my taste.

305/70R16 BFG Mud terrain KM's--> 35 psi

33x12.5r15 BFG A/T 32 psi COLD to ~35 psi hot

60! wow. I think your lucky they didn't blow...

Bridgestone Desert Duelers
On the '94 4Runner, 50lbs front and rear.
On the '85 long bed, 32 front, 35 rear.

Will probably switch to BFG based on polls here, when they need replacing. However I've had no problems with the Bridgestones.

I use those screw on tire pressure monitor cap thingees to make sure the pressure is not below the above values. I like them as you can tell by a casual walk-around that the pressure is above the minimum. No guessing by tire curvature.

35psi for me. used to run 32 but 35 increased my gas mileage

stock tires, 32psi as per door jamb sticker

i also run 35psi just make sure you dont put 35psi in the tires when there cold

Ive been running about 45 and my milage is great. It is a really stiff ride though. the guy who put my tires on said always run at least 40 on the road. It seemed a little high to me but he knows his business.

35 psi on the road for me. 265/70/16 BFG Allterrians

30 on 285's

Chalk test:

Take piece of chalk, draw a line across tread. Drive 100 feet or so straight. See where it rubs off, adjust pressure to make it evenly wear off.

More pressure = stiffer ride, better mpg, Less pressure = better ride less mpg. Run within 5-10 psi of the highest pressure rating, thats what you will find with the chalk test.

Dont ever run the pressures on the side of the damn doorjamb, thats fort he stock tires that came with the vehicle! Mine is for 235's, what happens if I run 235s in a T100 at 32 psi??? THEY ARE FLAT.

I keep telling people this, take my advice.

I run 30 psi on my BFG A/T's (265's). I was running higher but the ride was rough and they seemed to bounce over bumps like you were on a washboard.

35psi on 265/70/16 Duelers- like most on here it seems.. nice, even ride, and still over 20 mpg!

when the guy put my swampers on he cranked em up to about 35psi, but now i run em about 17 no matter where i am.

I have 31-10.50's and run about 30 PSI all the time, but i get about 16 MPG. I dunno if its from that though.

28 front, 26 rear. 34" swamper ltb's
only have about 30 miles on them, might adjust the pressure later...

I have been leaving them at 50 PSI which is the max my tires can handle I think.

BTW Toyo A/T Open country IMO are garbage they ride like crap no matter how much air they have in them.

Anywhere between 32 and 37 psi. I check them very seldomly, so I leave a fairly large window for error.
