what is the best tire an size to run on my 93 4x4 with the 22re

looking for a good tire size am currently runing the 31x10.50x15!

any suggestion!

well, if you go biger, your going to lose your towing power
if you go smaller, your going to lose your mud ability

i would go with the same size tires

x2 unless you re-gear

i run 32's and im fine....my brother has 33's and he says that his truck does good...and we both have stock gears

You should probably look at tires from another perspective. Wheel well clearance typically determines the largest size.

The small the tire the better your acceleration and towing ability. You will experience higher RPM's on the freeway and your speedometer will show faster than you are going.

Now enter regearing, if you want larger tires, regear. 33's and 4.88's are typically the best combo for these trucks regardless of engine when you have the 5 speed. 5.29's or 5.71's with the auto.

When some says their truck does well with stock gearing you really need to dig into what "well" means. On flat surfaces with low speed limits it likely will be fine. If you live in the Southwest or any part of the country with higher speed limits and/or hilly terrain, forget it, you'll hate 33's with V6/stock gearing and really hate it with the 22RE.
