TRD Pro 17x7 wheels on 2nd gen runner

I wanted to try a more modern wheel, specially an OEM wheel for my second gen 4runner. Couldn't find any information about people using these wheels on a 2nd gen 4runner. Anyway, they fit an they fit very well.

The wheel specs are 17x7 with a 4mm offset. They stick out 4mm father than the factory offset 8 alloys. I think these were originally released when the FJ cruiser came out but have been recently "re-released" for the 2015 TRD Pro 4runners. Anyway, they look awesome. I put BFG Allterrain KM2 in 285/70/17 on them. The truck currently has a 4.5" Super lift on it (bought it that way) which is getting replaced with a 2" OME very soon.

Wholly crap! I really didn't want to go to a 17" rim on my 94 but those look awesome...thanks, you may have just cost me a couple of grand down the road:hillbill:

Hi, thank you for posting the pictures!

Can you confirm this is the fitment without any wheel spacer?

Bump. Sorry for reviving such an old thread but i was wondering the same. Also, did you have to swap out the front center cap for any reason or did it not come with them?

Thank you.

if that helps, I ended up putting the sequoia 17" wheels, the 5 double spoke design. To me they feel more "period correct"

They are mounted with 33" tires (285 width) and required spacers in the front to clear the upper control arm (the tire was rubbing)

How “much” spacer did you end up running? 1 have ythebj spacers on front and my tires hit badly

I like it when car enthusiasts install the OEM wheels of another vehicle or series on their ride. I have never tried it before, most of the time I just purchase an aftermarket wheel from shops like 4WheelOnline.
