Tire weight vs. tire size

I am shopping around for a new set of tires for my rig (85 p/u)...it's not a DD but I do tend to drive it around town often just because it's fun to drive. I have longfield axles in the front and stock shafts in the rear

With that, I was thinking of going 37" simply because I've been told anything over a 37 is pushing it for yota axles.

I had been set on going with 37" irok radials and I noticed on the interco website that 39.5 irok bias are actually 1lb lighter than the 37 radial.

So what will cause more stress on the axles? The larger rotational size or the heavier weight?

The 2.5 inches of rotational leverage will cause more stress than a 1lb. difference of a 75+lb. tire.

Bias ply tires on pavement won't last 5000 miles and they will be ruined.

Get some 37" MTRs or the equivalent if you want to drive on the street and look "cool". :D
