Tire warranty? Dueler Revo
Why do many folks state the Dueler AT Revos have a 50k mileage warranty? From what I've gathered most folks have the LT tires, load C or E, which there is no warranty. Did I miss something or is this something they expect dealers to extend to them? I went to Discount Tire where I purchased my Scorpion ATs and they were definitely worn out at 39500 miles. They gave me 60% credit (these tires did not have the 40k mileage warranty when I bought them in 2001 like they do now). I'm not complaing, but I'm not sure where this is coming from. Are they some how applying it toward a material or defect warranty or is it goodwill from the dealer? Should I expect this kind of treatment in the future if my tire mileage comes up short (although I expected about 40k for the Scorpions based on reviews, etc). Was thinking about this as a reason to consider the Revo P version. But I'm getting the feeling I shouldn't worry about it and get the C range version since they are a little more robust.
