Tire Recommendations foe Base 2WD Pickup

Hi, I'm new to the small PU world, and I need new rubber for my '89 Base 2WD.

My #1 priority is traction on wet pavement and very occasional loads. Don't care about speed, noise, mud/snow, durability. Price matters, but not much.

I understand stock is 195/75-14, but also that 205/70-14 works.

What do you Yota experts recommend, circa 2017?

Thanks!

Hankook makes a good grippy soft compound tire with a nice tread pattern. The softer compound the less miles but with the light weight of your truck, they will do well. My .02
