Purchased Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos....

Well, on Friday I just got new 265/75 R16 A/T Revos. I spent some good time reading the forum and I was in between the Revos and the Terra Grapplers. I found a great deal for my Revos at Tire Plus so I decided to get those. They first offer $650 for four mounted and balanced, I told them that Firestone had them for $633, so he then counteroffered $599. Since I kept the old tires, which I want to sell, I ended up paying $588 + tax.

Now my next mod will be the PP springs and Bilstein shocks.

BTW, my older tires have good thread left on them, probably about half way. They are Dunlop Grandtrek's 265/70 R16. Anyone interested for a very low price? maybe $125 for the four. I can give you thread depth info and send pics if needed. I have to confess that the traction on these tires is not good.

I think you'll be very happy with the revos. I've been very impressed with mine. Their wet traction is truly amazing. I have about 45k on mine right now. I should have no problem getting to 60k.

X2 ...I got 150 for my old tires(craigslist) and paid $607 out the door for my Revos so I have the best $457 tires I have ever seen/felt.

They did good at the lake this weekend and great on the hiway to get to the lake. great tire.

Believe it or not, I have 70k miles on my Revo's right now and I think I can squeeze out at least another 10. They have been good tires, but probably a bit more than what I need (4wd street queen!). I want a good all season tire (I live in New England) that's well mannered, i.e. - quiet and smooth. Any suggestions?

What tire pressures have you been using (to get that mileage)?

I'm looking at the customer satisfaction stats on tirerack for the Revo's. They rate very high despite the price. So I'll be switching this week. This is not a casual evaluation on my part. Been doing lots of "work" to figure what I want. The Kumho Road Venture AT KL78's are very tempting at a much lower price, with also excellent stats, but not as good as the Revo's.

at the end there were not that expensive. I paid $580 out the door (including mounting and balancing). Then, I sold my old tires in Craigslist for $125. Not a bad deal.
Try Tire Plus and when they give you a price, just tell them that X shop is giving them to you for $620 or so.

I loved my Revo's. They rode awesome on and off road.

You can go for the Michelin LTX series (A/T or M/S). My friend got 90k out of the A/T's. Their off-road performance suffers due to the harder compound, but they last longer. Plus, Michelin quality is top notch. I'm probably going to put the M/S's on my summer wheels and get a more aggressive treaded tire for winter/off-road.

Well I added two Revo's to the rear. They feel good. Can't wait to burn up the Bridgestone Deuler 689's in the front...
