MT/R Kevlar vs KM2
Two new tires from two great companies... which one would you go with?

I am going with the 33x10.50 BFG MT KM2's! I have always been a die hard BFG fan and the look good, havent heard anything but good things about them. The Goodyear also doesnt come in 33x10.50 from what I have seen.

I'm running 35" bfg KM2's and have nothing but good things to say about them.

i'm on the fence with this one my self. can't find any km2s right now as the old stock is pretty much sold out in common sizes right now. every tire guy i've asked about the km2, they don't know since they're so new but everyone seems to like them over the old style. the mt/r kevlar appeals to me because i know kevlar is a tough ass material and if it does what it sounds like it could do, it has a serious advantage over any standard rubber. tires are expensive so i gotta put my money where it will last the longest and still be quality. i can get over the funky looking treadpattern because it looks like it will really help with on-road driving and treadlife. what i'm not a fan of is the white sidewalls on 33" tires (won't be white after a rocks get to them) and the fact that i'd have to get new rims to fit them since they don't seem to come in a 10.5 they're also way too new to know how they perform.

Never been a huge fan of the MT/R's but I've also never owned a set - so keep that in mind.
I've run two sets of BFG Muds and loved them both - the KM2's are the same only better. I just ordered a set of 35x12.50-15's from Sam's - they should be here by Friday. I'll let ya know what I think after I get em mounted. Fink:devil: |
