The last Revo vs BFG question: fuel effeciency

Hate to raise this subject again, but could you guys comment on which tire gets better MPG for freeway + city driving: a) Revo A/T b) BFG A/T KO

wow...i dont think that is determinable. There are too many variables to factor in. it all depends on size. i would think they are relativly close, within .01 miles.

Mpg

The reason I asked is because I saw a post mentioning a big MPG reduction going from stock 265/65/17 to Revo 265/70/17. May be I'm tinking too hard !

why dont you leave the stock tires on it or get OEM replacements. Why do you need larger revos or bfg ta/ko's if you're worried about mpgs?

I think the KOs weigh a few more lbs. I've never and will never consider MPGs when buying tires. Just not very significant.

A HT will get the best MPG and ride.

If you go up in diameter, you will lose maybe 1-2 mpg regardless of the tire.
