I have like 500 miles on my BFG's, my dad has had them on 3 trucks and loved every set. Most tires do harden after a while, it is more of a time issue and climate issue than miles.

Most Ats are warrantied for 50,000 miles. So you should get at least 50,000
to 60,000 miles . The Bridgestone Dueler Revos that I'm currently running shouldn't have a problem getting 50,000 plus at the rate they are wearing.

At the end of last year I replaced my BFG A/Ts, with a new set of BFGs. I had 75,000 miles on them. I could have gone another 5k+ but winter was coming. I'm glad I replaced when I did, we have had quite a bit of snow this year. I did sipe them which is supose to extend their life also.

62k on my BFG AT KOs right now. Just measured 8/32's of tread left. Thats about half.

Aren't BFGs factory siped like the Nittos? I'm not a fan of siping since it degrades the construction and performance of what the designers intended. Off road siping causes chunking from what I've seen too. I got good miles out of my sets og BFGs in the '90s but they sure were hard after three years and had minimal grip with still alot of tread left.

after like 40-45k miles on a tire, your going to get bored of it and want some shiny new rubbers anyway AT's do generally last 40-45k on average, and it is not uncommon to go above 50k.

I got 31k out of a set of 275/70-16 REVOs. About 40% of that was dirt at ~15psi, and another 20% on pavement at ~15psi so I'm very happy with the lifespan. I manage construction projects and have had many that are pretty remote, when I've got a lot of washboard roads to drive I drop the air to make the ride better. Hard on tires but much easier on the truck (and me!) I get about the same out of BFG ATs, I ran the BFGs for the last 15 years (8 or 9 sets??) but I've switched to REVOs and really like them.

Im pretty disapointed with my Dueler revos (32K) although i may have other issues other than the tires.

I have 265/75/16 BFG AT KO's with 55k and over 7mm of tread left.
Very grippy off-road manners(for an AT tire), but kind of plows through turns in wet, on-road conditions. Also can be a pain to balance(especially the dumm-dums at your local tire hut) with stock rims. Grumbles aside, I would buy another set. If you wheel at all or plan to, these BFG's might be a good option. Good luck.

When I had my LTX A/T they had about 10,000 on them and looked new. I was pleasantly surprised at their off road capability. They where ok in mud (for and all terrain) but on rocks and what not I was very surprised at how well they preformed.

I've heard of people getting 100,000 out of them. Outrageous!

My favorite tire is the Wild Country tire's. They last forever in mud, snow , gravel, rocks and pavement and they were $125.00 a piece out the door. mounted and balanced to perfection. Mike
