Anyone using Nitto Mud or Dune Grapplers?
Contemplating getting some new tires in the next few months. I have the Nitto Terra Grapplers now, and I have been very pleased with them. I'm wanting to go to a larger tire size, 35ish or so. I was mainly wondering what kind of mileage/tire wear people are seeing. I know I don't need a true mud tire, but I don't drive my truck everyday either. I have heard that the Mud Grapplers last pretty good on road for a mud tire; but I wanted to see if anyone with a Toyota Pickup or 4runner could let me know. Any info on the Dune Grapplers would also be helpful; don't know much about them. Planning to stay with some type of Nitto though. Thanks.

The Dune Grapplers look a like they are built more for show than go and I wouldn't use them on anything other than pavement or sand but any other terrain would eat them alive.

just a fyi
Nitto USA has terrible customer service. search nitto terragrapplers for details. I would stay away from NItto if you are in the US...b/c of their customer service alone. |
I bought mine with certificates at Discount thus eliminating Nitto from the loop so I guess I won't find out. I have 12k on mine and no problems.

they dont evenmake the mud grappler last time i checked. it was a crap design for mud. more for show. I love my terra grapplers, but for a mud, i will go with a proven tire if the need ever arises.
