33" BFG M/T tire pressure?
Hello all. I am new here. Does anybody have any recommendations for tire pressure for 33" BFG M/T's for everyday use? Trying to make them last as long as possible. BTW, the new ones are not nearly as noisy as I thought they would be.

Take a business card, and draw a line 1/4 inch from the edge. Park on a level, flat surface. With the tires cold, air up or down until you can slide the card under the tread to the line. There will usually be a two pound difference between the front and rear. This will get you very close to the ideal tire pressure for YOUR vehicle.
This isn't my idea, and I can't find where I read it, but it works great. The guy that figured it out is a genius in my book, and I owe him a beer or two. The idiot tire store wasn't even close. |
Thanks alot man. Never heard of that one. Anybody else have any advice? Does anybody know how long I can expect these tires to last on my daily driver? 30000?

30K miles is 48K kilometers. I put ~70K kilometers on a set of 31" A/Ts on my 98 4R, and they were only 50% worn when I took them off. Proper inflation and rotation (I do them every second oil change) is the key, though.
