2000 4runner 2wd rear tired locked, can not drive!!! HELP
Hello guys,
i have come to a problem try to solve myself, because it is impossible to drive now to the deal or car shop to fix the rear drums or something else. I live in Bethesda Maryland, so the weather is hot, temperature shouldn't be the problem.
the problem start, 3 weeks ago, never had time to fix it, so this week monday i am trying to take off, the rear tired jerking then locked up completely, could go any further out of my driveway. so, the car can back up, then put on neutral it will slow go forward, however, it will automatically locked up, choked or jerk, then completely locked once i go forward when i apply gas.
the symptom started like this, especially afternoon after 4pm, during rush hour, the car will jerk then i put brakes on, jerks, then slowly advance, then i will gas up to avoid the jerking, the thumb sound as well, then when i press brake pad it jerk.
please advise where to look the problem. i've already try to disengaged the E-brake portion of the brake to neutral, and put everything back on still does the same thing.
